Reclaiming Your Sovereign Power: The Path to Possibility
Published on Mar 28, 2025

In my previous post about finding home within yourself, I shared how true belonging comes from knowing and accepting all parts of yourself. Today, I want to explore what happens when you continue that journey—when you commit to exploring those dark edges and reclaim your sovereign power.

The Dream of Possibility

My biggest dream for you is that you recognize what’s truly possible for yourself.

As long as we believe in possibility—not just as an abstract concept, but as something that applies to us specifically—things open up. Hope emerges. Curiosity and willingness follow.

But when we don’t believe things are possible, when we believe we’ve been dealt a set hand of cards and “this is just what you gotta do,” excitement vanishes. Exploration ends. Everything becomes defined and decided for you.

When we enter that space of possibility where we’re willing to dream—to imagine things being different, better, more expansive—we activate our courage muscles. We can pursue growth. This is the most powerful place to be: continuously returning to possibility so we can grow, expand, and then ask “what’s next?” It becomes an ongoing journey within ourselves.

What Does Sovereign Power Look Like?

When a woman has become the truest version of herself, she exists in a state of complete self-acceptance and total power reclamation. She owns all that she is, all that she desires, and all that she wants to do with her beautiful life.

She’s able to not just envision possibility, but dominate it, own it, and claim what she wants. She speaks up and honours her needs, even in uncomfortable situations. She has the confidence to pursue what she wants unapologetically.

This becomes her standard—the rules she plays by. The people she attracts and the relationships she builds either meet her in that place, or they’re gone, because her boundaries are strong and fierce.

She is regal. The word “sovereign” is there for a reason. It’s about owning your space, owning all that you are with an unshakeable certainty that this is what you’re bringing to the table.

Living in this state means that when you want a promotion, you know you’re worthy of it and you chase it. Your relationships don’t involve holding back because you want to be seen and accepted in your wholeness. Your standards are so high that you’re treated like a queen—not in an entitled way, but because you’re ready to be seen, held, and known in your power and your desire.

And that creates the impact you came here to make, because nothing will stop you and nothing will get in your way.

A World of Sovereign Women

Imagine a world with more women owning their sovereignty and taking back their power.

We would have tighter communities. The collective would be held and cared for because women naturally nurture and bring people together. We would create spaces where people feel safe to be who they are and honour how they feel.

I think of the mother archetype—one who ensures everyone is fed, clothed, loved, and cared for. Not in an accommodating, people-pleasing way, because this sovereign woman is also meeting her own needs. There’s space for her to be fully expressed.

As more women awaken their sovereignty, shifts begin in family dynamics, then workplaces, then communities, and eventually countries. We’ve seen how divisive patriarchal systems can be. This sovereign approach would represent a return to the village, the community, the oneness.

Only women can lead this transformation, which means it’s our responsibility to do this inner work, awaken these aspects within ourselves, and reclaim our power unapologetically.

Where to Begin: Asking the Hard Questions

If you’re nodding along thinking “I want a piece of that,” you might wonder where to start.

When we know something needs to change but aren’t sure what exactly, we experience an ambient discomfort. We need to be willing to ask ourselves some challenging questions:

  1. What doesn’t feel good right now?
  2. What would I like it to feel like instead?
  3. Why am I not there yet?

These questions require honesty with yourself—not in a self-shaming way, but by taking a clear look at what you might be avoiding or neglecting. You may need to revisit these questions repeatedly as you grow, with answers evolving over time.

Every time you’re at a place in your journey where expansion is about to happen and discomfort creeps in, return to these questions. They illuminate what’s possible.

If you’re committed to your current way of being, possibility isn’t even an option. But when you’re willing to admit things could be better—without guilt, shame, or feeling ungrateful for wanting more—you unlock whatever comes next.

Why a Spiritual Approach Matters

When we approach personal growth spiritually rather than only through traditional healing methods like therapy or medication, we go beyond addressing immediate discomfort to reach the roots.

While therapy might explore family dynamics and inner child work (which are important), a spiritual lens takes you further: into past lives, examining how you’ve incarnated with the people around you, and discovering your purpose.

Traditional modalities often focus primarily on what’s happening in the head, sometimes looking at body chemistry. What’s often missing is the heart, the soul, and the impact on the body. Science is evolving to incorporate these elements, but spirituality has been addressing them all along.

A spiritual approach becomes essential especially if you’ve “tried everything else”—read all the books, attended conferences, worked with therapists—and hit a plateau. Spirit coaching takes you deeper, beyond what can be measured, into the abstract but powerful realms of your being.

Trust: The Bridge to Transformation

If you know change needs to happen but the idea of stepping into the unknown terrifies you to the point of paralysis, remember this word: trust.

Trust yourself first. You have a lifetime of experience that has brought you to this moment. You’ve already accomplished so much, so no matter what’s on the other side of change, you’ve got this.

Then, trust in whatever spiritual support resonates with you—God, the universe, the divine. Trust that you are held, guided, and supported. You are never alone.

When you have that knowing and trust within yourself, stepping into darkness—whether it’s the unknown or your own shadow—becomes easier. You might not see the light immediately, but when you’re open, willing, and ready, the light will come.

It all begins with trusting enough to let it be dark for a while, knowing that clarity will emerge and you’ll be ready when it does.

The Unshakeable Journey Continues

The journey to sovereignty builds upon finding your home within. As you become more comfortable with your authentic self, you naturally begin to reclaim your power and expand what’s possible in your life.

This isn’t about arrogance or domination—it’s about wholeness, truth, and living from your centre. It’s about creating the impact you were born to make.

And remember: possibility isn’t just for others. It’s specifically, wonderfully, and absolutely available to you.
